| Museli Bars |
These energy packed bars are an ideal breakfast or pre workout snack.
Ingredients-
1. 2 cups museli
2. 1 cup quaker oats
3. 1/2 cup chopped almonds
4. 1/2 cup honey
5. 1/2 cup butter
6. 1/4 cup peanut butter(optional)
7. Pinch of salt
Cooking Instructions
Pre heat the oven to 180 degree celcius.
Place the museli, oats and chopped almonds in a baking tray and roast for 5 minutes.
Remove in a mixing bowl.
In a sauce pan add butter, honey, peanut butter and a pinch of salt. Melt all the ingredients on a very low flame for 5-6 minutes.
Gently add the liquid to the dry ingredients.
Mix well.
In a baking tray lined with parchment paper, spread the mixed ingredients and roll them (1/2 inch thick)
Press the ingredients tightly and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let the mixture cool for at least 1 hour.
Cut into bars and enjoy your power packed snack.
